The Heat & Frost Insulators and Allied Workers Local 21, headquartered in Dallas, TX, represents mechanical insulators, asbestos/lead mitigation specialists, firestop technicians, and sound-attenuation professionals serving the Dallas metro and surrounding areas.

ABOUT

Local 21 offers a Registered Apprenticeship Program approved by the U.S. Department of Labor, where apprentices learn mechanical insulation—including high- and low-temperature systems—fireproofing, lead/asbestos abatement, and specialty fabrication. Apprentices earn a living wage from Day One while receiving hands-on training under journeyman mentors and attending classroom instruction. Local 21 members enjoy full union benefits, support services, and access to contractor networks across the region.
