BUILDING WEST TEXAS TOGETHER

We are a proud local affiliate of the Texas State Building & Construction Trades Council, representing the skilled union trades across West Texas. As part of a statewide network, we work collectively to protect the rights of workers, promote quality construction, and advocate for the interests of organized labor in our region.

Since 1941, the Texas State Building & Construction Trades Council has served as a unified voice for union construction workers throughout the state. The Council provides vital support to its affiliated locals, offering guidance on prevailing wage standards, trade licensing, legislative advocacy, and the enforcement of labor laws that impact the construction industry. Their work helps ensure safe job sites, fair compensation, and career-building opportunities for all union tradespeople.

Here in West Texas, we continue that mission by working with local governments, contractors, and the public to uphold strong standards in construction. Our council supports fair wages, proper licensing, and the enforcement of labor protections—ensuring that skilled union labor remains the foundation of safe, high-quality building across our communities.
